Program Overview
THINKING & IMAGINING:
Utilizing art materials and crafts, students explore creativity, develop ideas, and process emotions, promoting confidence and emotional growth.
COMMUNICATING & PRESENTING: Taught public speaking techniques, storytelling, and group discussions help students express emotions and intentions verbally, fostering empathy.
OBSERVING & REFLECTING: Encouraging students to observe and reflect on their own artwork and the work of others during the class. Through guided reflections and discussions, students gain insights into their emotions, thought patterns, and creative choices.

What is Artful Connections?
Artful Connections is a program specifically designed to foster the development of social skills among students. By prioritizing the acquisition of essential tools for effective collaborative learning, this program ensures that students are well-equipped for successful interactions with their peers. Through engaging in a variety of art projects, playing interactive games, and participating in stimulating challenges, students have the opportunity to explore their creativity while simultaneously enhancing their social abilities.
